Who we are

Jania and Lare are both residents of Central Point and are excited to be part of the Artisan Corridor located alongside Coquette Bakery and The Rogue Creamery! They look forward to being a go to spot for our local families & community!

Let’s look back at how this all started.

Jania’s Central Point roots go back to 1919, as generational farmers. Jania and her father are part of the Darigold Co-op and active board members of the Grange Co-op. Jania is also an Alumni of Crater High School, a busy mother of two young boys, and is active in District 6.
While Jania’s agricultural background is in conventional agriculture, over the last 5 years she has chosen a path of providing natural, respectfully, ethically produced milk, pork, chicken, and beef for her local community from her farm, “Not so Mini Farm”.

Lara and her family purchased land off Old Stage Road in 2017. With Denver roots, Lara spent 16 years in New York City as a high paced event planner and caterer before “Lane Creek Reserve” was purchased. Laras's family’s vision was to allow the land to rest, return back to its original and native self, all while in putting the foundation to create a safe space for the community to connect to local food systems. Lara is a mother of 2 young children, married to Joel, and are busy raising non-medicated beef, pork, lamb, chicken and seasonal veggies on 50 acres of non-sprayed or chemically treated land. As a certified pesticide free farm, it been a joy to bring clean, food to her community. Over the years, Lane Creek Reserve has acquired the bread waste from Croquette Bakery, cheese waste from The Rouge Creamery, and produce waste from Natural Grocers to feed to her pigs. Lara is thrilled to now be able to produce a homegrown sausage link that not only will be raised with love, but it will also be closely connected to the entire Artisan Corridor, and available to the community through Westcoast Hotdogs!

In 2021, Lara & Jania’s worlds collided on the farm, and the rest is history. They are literally best friends, partners in farm life, and support one another through all hard things… and now they are AMBITIOUS Business Partners.

Westcoast Hotdogs was built for the community, by people who truly are proud to call Central Point home.
